Marcos Aurélio Couto CEO

Mr. Marcos Aurélio Couto has a career of more than 30 years in the insurance industry, having worked in leading positions in insurance companies such as Mitsui Sumitomo, BBM-Seguros da Bahia, CIGNA, INA and as Chief Executive Officer of “ACE Seguradora” between 2006 and 2011. In the last 5 years, he has led the turnaround of Tempo Participações SA, of which he is Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Guilherme Silveira Barrozo Netto CFO and Investor Relations Director

Mr. Guilherme Silveira Barrozo Netto has 14 years of experience in the corporate and investment market, having been for 5 years Director of Management and Finance (CFO) of NSC Comunicação, after acting for 9 years in the financial market, initially in the advice of M&A by HSBC in London and then in the management of private equity investments by Gávea Investimentos and Perenne Investmentoss. Guilherme holds a degree in Production Engineering from PUC-Rio and a double degree in Industrial Engineering from INSA Lyon (France).

André de Barros Martins Business Director and COO

Mr. André de Barros Martins has 30 years of experience in the Brazilian insurance market. He started his career as a trainee at Finasa Seguradora, and has worked in different segments of insurance industry in the companies such as BCN Seguradora, Bradesco Seguros and Canada Life Pactual. He was benefits director for five years at Willis Corretora, having extensive experience in the supplementary health segment and in 2005 founded Índico brokerage firm, which was acquired by Alper later.

Antônio Luiz Joaquim Sallenave de Azevêdo Business Director

Mr. Antônio Luiz Joaquim Sallenave de Azevêdo holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). He began his career in insurance as a Sales Supervisor of Minas Brasil Seguros. He also worked as a commercial manager at Banco Mercantil de São Paulo and a manager at Marsh Bahia. He founded Sercose Corretora de Seguros, which was later acquired by Alper.

Luis Felipe Françoso Pereira da Cruz President

Mr. Luis Felipe is a partner at Pátria Investimentos, responsible for Private Equity Investments. He has over 20 years of investment experience, having participated in several M&A and capital markets transactions in different industries. In addition, he served as Director of Strategic Planning and Advisor to companies in the Pátrias’ portfolio. Previously, he worked in the Investment Banking area of Banco ABN Amro Real. He holds a degree in Business Administration from EAESP-FGV.

Hugo Alberto Segre Junior Vice-President

Mr. Hugo holds a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP) and Law from Mackenzie University. He started his career at Mainstay Asset Management, of which he was a partner until 2012. Between 2012 and 2015 he worked at Pátria Investimentos, where he was one of those responsible for the PIPE (Private Investments in Public Equities) strategy. From 2015 to 2017 he was Investor Relations and Mergers and Acquisitions Manager at Companhia de Locação das Américas (Locamerica), currently Unidas. Since 2017 he is one of FitPart‘s variable income managers.

Eduardo Luiz Wurzmann Independent Member
Mr. Eduardo holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from USP, completed his MBA in finance from the University of Illinois and a Fellow of the Henry Crown Program at the Aspen Institute. Between 1993 and 2000 he worked at the French investment bank Credit Agricole Indosuez Securities, in Brazil and Russia, he was Managing Director. Between 2000 and 2011 he also served as CEO of the Ibmec Educacional Group. Between 2011 and 2014 he assumed the position of General Manager of H&R Block Brasil. Mr. Eduardo is a member of the Board of Directors of Unidas, member of the Board of Directors of Yduqs, member of the Board of Directors of Mills Engenharia, member of the Advisory Board of Hinode, and member of the Board of The Israeli Albert Einstein Hospital, member of the Board of Governors of Tel Aviv University and secretary general of CONIB Confederação Israelita do Brasil.
Mauro César Batista Alternate member

Mr Mauro has a degree in Business Administration from Universidade do Distrito Federal, with a specialization degree in Statistics. He has vast experience in the Brazilian insurance market, starting his career in the segment in 1979 as regional manager of SulAmérica Seguros. Later, he worked as Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer for 13 years of Seguradora Roma. He also occupied the position of Executive Vice-President and Member of the Board of Directors of Mapfre. As for the institutional work, he was Director of Fenaseg and Fenseg, Executive Vice-President of Funenseg and Chairman of ANSP for 15 years. He is currently Chairman of Sindseg SP, Chairman of the Higher Council of ANSP, member of the Board of Directors of Funenseg, member of the Higher Council of CNSEG; member of the Board of Directors of the insurance group Banco do Brasil and Mapfre.

Thiago Aranha Leite Independent Member

Thiago holds a BA in Business Administration from EAESP-FGV and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, with honors. Today a partner at Axxon Group Private Equity, he has accumulated experience over the past 9 years in several investment projects in companies from different sectors. In addition to the execution of M&A transactions, he has also served as an effective member of the Board and Operating Committees of Axxon Group’s portfolio companies. Previously, from 2006 to 2014, Thiago worked at international consulting firm Booz & Company, developing strategic projects for several companies, especially in the financial services and consumer goods sectors.

Gustavo Diniz Junqueira Independent Member

Mr Gustavo has a degree in Business Administration from FAAP, and an MBA in Finance from Thunderbird School of Management, in the United States, where he built a career in the financial area. Since the 90’s, he has a strong performance in the capital market and M&A area, having acted directly as CFO and Investor Relations Director in the structuring of EZTEC’s IPO. He was also Secretary of Agriculture of the State of São Paulo and President of INVESTSP – São Paulo Economic Development Agency from 2019 to 2022. Currently, he is a member of the investment board of the Exagon fund in New York in the USA and of the senior board of the Brazilian Rural Society (SRB). He is an agribusiness entrepreneur and rural producer in São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Pará.
